God had finished the "host" or "armys" of heaven. Interesting. What does it matter?? Maby not at all, I just like to make you think.

Now I thought that God had created man in chapter 1. He did. This is a man for a specific purpose. To till the ground.
Gen 2:7 And the LORD3068 God430 formed3335 (853) man120 of the dust6083 of4480 the ground,127 and breathed5301 into his nostrils639 the breath5397 of life;2416 and man120 became1961 a living2416 soul.5315
The first thing I would like to point out is that God "formed" this man from the dust of the ground. If you care to check the hebrew on this:

Meaning?? God had now formed a single man for a specific purpose. Different from the purpose given man in chapter 1(to replentish the earth). We will notice that this man is never givin that particular purpose. just keep notes of these things.

Just a note, this time God has formed(same word as before) all beasts and foul from the ground. In chapter 1 the foul came from the watters.

We still have no helper fit for the man, no mate for him. In chapter 1 God created male and female at the same time.

And here we have the first recorded surgery.(lol) Now there has been much controversy over this word for Rib. We will not go into all of that just now, but I will Give you the hebrew that you may make a study of it if you wish. Just dont get cought up in the word twisting game as some have done.

What ever it was, God put the man to sleep, opened him up, removed the part then closed up the flesh thereof. And it was CURVED.

Thus the first recorded marrage ordained by God. Also some very nice advice. Once a man has his wife and is trying to make a life for his famally, moma and daddy cant be there to make all the choices for them any longer. Leave them forever?? Hardly. Just remember, this is now YOUR famally and YOUR place to run it. Nobody can tell you how to do that. However, mam and dad can still give som Great advise.
Gen 2:25 And they were1961 both8147 naked,6174 the man120 and his wife,802 and were not3808 ashamed.954
And so we come to the end of chapter 2 of Gen. The man and his wife very happy. But note one more thing. This man has been given everything he needs to support his wife, Before He is given His wife. Maybe some more advise. Before we take on a family we should have our life in order.
